Blogger’s Purgatory

I have been to blogger’s hell and it is not a pretty place. It is full of pain, frustration, isolation and an incredible “sense of loss.”
I admit this to you with my head held low and full of shame. I’ve missed being in Hell previously only by the grace of the blog gods or my own dumb luck.
Have you ever found yourself starting a project (like upgrading your blog site) and have things go wrong. The more you work on fixing the errors the deeper you got. The hole keeps getting deeper and pretty soon there is no end in sight.
Once I resolved myself to the fact that there was no hope of recovering I started the rebuilding. Fortunately it’s starting to come along.
I am looking forward to reconnecting with all of you soon. Thanks for all the emails from friends who were concerned. There was nothing to worry about, really.

I know your pain. My self hosted site is floating in oblivion somewhere. Free WordPress was really the way to go for me. Hope things are back up and running well again soon.
