New Years Resolutions…
Posted under How I See It
I vow to spend more quality time with my family.
(Which means less time blogging. Uh oh!)
I vow to get the gym more often this year.
(Gravity is not going to get the best of me)
I promise to no longer spend foolishly on cheap wine and cigars.
(Just cheap women, just kidding, my wife is not cheap)
I resolve to backup my blog often and locally.
(Because rebuilding your site is a pain in the ass)
I swear to support Weaslmomma in her pursuits of the perfect margarita.
(And that her hubby finds work soon)
I resolve to continue following M at Movin Down the Road and her new guy in her life.
(Not like I’m trying to stalk her or anything, honest!)
I promise to follow KT as she continues rebuilding her relationship with her husband.
(As someone who’s been there, I am in complete awe and inspired)
I’m determined to continue reading about Anne at Under the Red Tin Roof. I enjoy her storytelling.
(I really need to work on my storytelling)
I promise to hit up Oh Captain for some poker help.
(I’ve got some poker buddies that need to be taken down a notch or two)
I will follow in the mold of Teri who seems to take her running very seriously.
(I on the other hand don’t take anything too seriously)
I pledge to follow in the footsteps of Worried Dad and be more concerned with the world around us.
(But I’m still leaving the blog worrying to him)
I swear to continue my following of NukeDad and his hilarious family.
(Because we all need a good laugh at the end/beginning of the day)
I promise to follow Cocotte who also has three teenagers in her to deal with.
(She knows how I’m feeling…)
I will continue to follow Matt at MattDaddy as we approach baseball season in a few months.
(The Halos need to avoid the BoSox in the playoffs this year, damn it!)
I will continue to read Tara because she writes with insightfulness and charm.
(I on the other hand am lucky to string two sentences together)
I will continue to tag along with Mrs. 4444 at Half Past Kissin Time and her writings of school and her students.
(I married a teacher and need all the help I can understanding how they think!)
I will follow Debbie and I Overcooked the Family and marvel at her delicious recipes.
(We’d starve to death; I need all the help I can in the kitchen since the wife is still on crutches)
I will continue to reading Tom at Being Michael’s Daddy and marvel at fatherhood a second time around.
(And maybe send him sympathy card)
I will undertake the task of following Joe and Above Average Joe as he continues to be a great single father to his two kids.
(Been there, done that and I admire those parents without spouses who take their responsibility as parents seriously)
I resolve to reconnect with many of you that I have lost in my rebuilding.
(Please be patient as I try to find and reconnect with you)
Happy New Year…
