What’s A Man To Do?

Okay, let’s not focus entirely on the handsome guy in the photos. Yes, he does have the looks of a Hollywood leading man, but that’s not why I’ve plastered my photos up for the all the world to appreciate…
As you can see I’m of the group of men who are folically challenged. The photo on the left was taken several months ago, the one on the right today after my visit to our local “SuperCuts.”
My wife and I disagree on my “hairstyle.” She is of the opinion that the longer the better. I, on the other hand, look at the inevitable that which is my hairline. Or what is left of it. I’ve not quite got the guts to go the Bruce Willis, or Vin Diesel look. Not quite willing to shave it that close.
But let’s face it. If it’s not there, why try to pull the old “comb over” look?
My wife suggested this post and said I wouldn’t have the guts to ask you guys your preference. I told her, it didn’t take guts, and I just didn’t think anyone would care….
Definitely shorter. My father in law has done the comb-over for as long as I’ve known him. (20+ years.) I love to watch him stand out in the wind and see that big flap of hair waving in the wind. It makes me laugh but doesn’t really command any respect. Yes, definitely shorter.

Tough call. The shorter works better, but not all guys can pull it off. The Mr. Has threatened to d that as if his hair thins any further. I told him that if he does it, I will do it too.

definitely shorter. why pretend you have it when you don’t? Besides, I’ve always thought men looked better with the shorter, close to the head shave.

I like it all or nothing………..grow it long or just shave it all off. Or start wearing those skull caps like the youngen’s do.

Yep, my vote goes with shorter too. I can’t stand comb-overs, it’s not fooling anyone.

Are the only two options a commb-over or super-short? Because I think the first picture is still shor enough to not look like you are deluding yourself, but might make your wife happier. Definitely not “the longer the better,” but in my opinion a little longer than a buzz is a good compromise.

The shorter look is much better. However, your wife is the one who has to look at you. Tough call.

My husband is more hair challenged than you are. I am his barber, and I use the number 1 buzz. So sexy . Every once in a while he will let me shave it right off, and Oh Baby, it makes me wild. It’s a known fact that men with more of the male hormone androgen go bald earlier. So in my view, celebrate the fact!

Truthfully, if you’re going to cut it that short, why not just shave your head? Might as well get a serious buff and blind your enemies!

Yeah, I’m definitely of the “wife’s opinion” camp. She’s the one who looks at you and is happy about it, or not so much. Aside from that, I think you could pull off either look just as well.

I have the same hair “style” Shorter is close and cool. longer is trying to hold on to something thats not there.

I like it short. Granted, you’ve seen the photos of my guy on facebook. My dad just cut his hair super short too. It’s all the rage!

LET IT GROW BACK OUT! We’ve had many discussions about this, so I don’t need to state my case. You don’t come over your hair anyways, so I don’t see why that argument is relevant. Just grow it out. Please.
