But still….

And, Didn’t she auction off this secret for charity a few years ago? I think it brought in a pretty big price tag. I’d be pissed if I was the one who won it.

It made me sad when I heard she announced who the subject of the song was. It’s such an iconic song, and part of what made the song so iconic was the mystery behind it. You are right, now it is just another song. Still an amazing song, but it has lost that magic it once had.
